Zeke and the Electric Stovepipe Blues Band |
||
Zeke was a heart-felt throwback band which gave Old Testament names to the musicians and threw them out on stage to wreak mayhem of a stripe not often probed by high school bands. The band featured Matt Lovell as "name here" on bass, ... If I had to compare them to someone, I'd have to say The Rolling Stones in their blues mode, a comparison facilitated by their able cover of "Midnight Rambler". |

Chapel Gig The band seemed to be the feature entertainment at a large meeting in the school's Chapel or Arts Center Stage. I believe this is just in the chapel, which would indicate that it was a form meeting (a class meeting). The Arts Center suggests an all school meeting. Whatever it is, the group is warmly received at the end. Wild Thing (2:35, 3 MB) Student Activity Center Gig The band performed at least 2 songs as part of a gig at the SAC. This seemed to be an open mike night or something. I really like this band. Ain't Seen My Baby/Midnight Rambler (9:06, 10 MB) All recordings and videos on this site are copyrighted. |
